Seamless Integration Across All Design Disciplines

Design Coordination

General Form

Overview

Complex buildings require tight coordination between multiple design disciplines. KAISAB’s engineering team actively collaborates with architects, MEP consultants, structural engineers, and main contractors to ensure our systems — chutes, compactors, BMUs, access hatches, and flooring — are precisely integrated within the overall building design. We attend coordination meetings, review design models, resolve spatial conflicts, and ensure all interfaces are clearly documented and agreed upon before construction begins.

How it works
1

Planning

Review of architectural, structural, and MEP design packages to identify system interface zones and spatial requirements
2

Engineering

Coordination of system layouts with building structure, MEP services, and architectural finishes — including BIM/CAD model integration where applicable
3

Documentation

Issue of coordination drawings, clash reports, and interface schedules for consultant review and approval
4

Execution

Active participation in design coordination meetings with project design team and main contractor
5

Support

Ongoing design coordination support throughout detailed design and construction phases to resolve emerging interface issues

Execution Lifecycle
